As an adult he took an interest in exercise, health and performance and his career is a manifestation of his passion for these things- learning to help himself and his clients to feel and perform their best.

He recently became a student of osteopathy through the manual osteopathic college of Canada and has further enhanced his skill set to assess and treat clients.

The skills he has acquired have given him the ability to assess and determine what an individual’s mechanical and physiological needs are in order to achieve their health, fitness and performance goals and how to design highly effective exercise programs to help achieve best results.

Noah (he/him) recently moved to Kelowna, BC, and is enjoying exploring the beautiful scenery and vibrant community of the Okanagan. Originally from Kamloops—on the unceded and traditional lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc people within Secwepemcúl’ecw—he feels privileged to have called these lands home and to now be building new connections in Kelowna.

As a therapist, Noah believes it is essential to acknowledge the privilege he holds as a white, cis-gender man and to reflect on the many ways this identity shapes his work. As a queer, gay man, he brings a unique lens to his practice—one that empowers him to engage in advocacy and provide meaningful support for 2SLGBTQPIA+ individuals and other marginalized identities.

Before joining Harmony Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic, Noah worked extensively within the queer community, including supporting 2SLGBTQPIA+ students through one-on-one services and programming in a post-secondary setting.

Outside the therapeutic space, Noah can often be found visiting local breweries with friends, watching RuPaul’s Drag Race (he may even ask who your favourite queen is), and spending time with his beloved cat, Ravioli (Ravi).

Dr. Harmony Mir, creator and founder of Harmony Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic, is devoted to creating a lifestyle of wellness and health through chiropractic care. She believes chiropractic is about much more than just treating a condition; it’s about caring for the whole person. Her education has given her a strong appreciation for both evidence-based practice and integrative holistic health care, while her life experiences have taught her how to listen, respect and be empathetic to others. Her goal is to teach that the pursuit of optimal health and wellness is much more than being symptom free.

Although Dr. Mir always had a passion to help others, it was personal experiences that lead her to chiropractic. Gaining her Bachelors degree in Music Performance from Acadia University, she also ran with the varsity x-country team. Sustaining many injuries as a varsity athlete not only affected her ability to compete, it also hindered her as a performer. It was through the safe and natural process of Chiropractic care that she was able to shine both in the race and on the stage.

While gaining her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Dr. Mir began to find a keen interest in pediatrics and pregnancy. She then continued her education in prenatal, postnatal and pediatric care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association of which she is Webster certified & is certified with the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP)..

Having had experience as a professional musician, Dr. Mir understands the demands placed on performers and has special interest in the injuries that affect them. She utilizes both Graston and Myofascial Release Techniques in practice while incorporating education, exercise and nutritional recommendations.

Dr. Mir’s philosophy is shaped by her belief in wellness care. She believes that after removing the symptoms and pain, attention must be given to creating wellness. This is established by increasing immunity and resistance to disease, enhancing energy and the ability to age without disability, while becoming emotionally balanced. This is the path to a healthy life. “Your first wealth is your health.” Emerson

Bret is a devoted Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who has been practicing since 2020, following his graduation from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. Bret brings a background in Kinesiology into his practice, combining conventional massage techniques—including General Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Joint Mobilizations—with his current training and passion for Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. To learn more about Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, visit the Body Intelligence website.

Bret’s Approach

Bret sees the therapeutic process as fundamentally collaborative, with both practitioner and client actively involved in shaping, carrying out, and adapting the course of care.

Bret believes that impactful treatment and a strong therapeutic relationship are built upon respect for each individual—their lived experiences, beliefs, needs, and readiness for change. Rather than seeing himself as a “fixer,” Bret embraces the role of facilitator: creating the conditions in which the body and nervous system can be supported in their own processes of healing and change.

For Bret, effective care begins with safety and trust. He strives to bring a grounded, attentive, and compassionate presence to his work, creating an environment where clients can feel comfortable enough to slow down, let go, and unwind patterns of bodily tension and stress.

Ultimately, Bret sees bodywork in its many forms as a means of supporting greater self-awareness, self-expression, vitality, and quality of life.
